Restaurant Schierzicht

Besides a new lodge, restaurant and lodging Schierzicht has expanded its facilities even further: guests can charge their electric vehicle at PowerGo’s charging stations since 2022

At the restaurant and lodge in the city of Lauwersoog in the north of the Netherlands, hospitality and accessibility are high priorities. Offering customers the opportunity to charge their electric vehicle fits well in this principle. Theo Gerdes, director of Restaurant Schierzicht: “In this way, we can make it more attractive for people to come visit the city of Lauwersoog. Thereby, it was a big advantage for our restaurant and lodging that PowerGo took on the investment of the charging stations.” 

At the parking lot, two charging stations have been installed, where four electric vehicles can charge simultaneously. Here, drivers of electric vehicles can charge with 100% sustainable solar energy from Dutch soil.
