E-circuit Emmen

At parent company PowerField’s E-circuit in the Dutch city of Emmen, a fast charger is installed where users can charge directly with solar energy

The E-circuit features solar panels installed on a nearly 2-kilometre-long embankment. In addition, a carport system has been built at the circuit, which provides space for 240 vehicles. Developed and owned by parent company PowerField, the E-circuit provides an amount of energy roughly equivalent to the consumption of 1.500 average Dutch households.  

At the beginning of 2021, PowerGo realised a 60-kilowatt fast-charging point, where inhabitants of Emmen and the surrounding area can charge directly with solar energy.
