PowerGo realizes fast chargers for Intratuin
PowerGo has partnered with Intratuin, a chain of garden centers in the Benelux, to realize charging solutions. At Intratuin in Lochem, Apeldoorn and Almelo in the Netherlands, PowerGo installs 120-kilowatt fast chargers.
At PowerGo’s fast chargers, drivers of electric vehicles (EVs) charge quickly with 100% sustainable energy. The locations of Intratuin will each be equipped with two fast chargers with a capacity up to 120 kilowatts, where four cars can charge at the same time. Intratuin Lochem is the first location to be equipped with these fast chargers. According to the current planning, charging in Apeldoorn is possible from October. Intratuin Almelo will follow in early 2024.
The fast chargers are equipped with LCD screens, where users can easily access information about charging and payment. In addition, these chargers provide extra communication and advertising opportunities for Intratuin.
Combining charging and shopping
”At Intratuin, EV drivers can now combine charging with shopping’’, says Jaimy Kearney, Head of Business Development at PowerGo. ”PowerGo takes care of the investment of the charging infrastructure and facilitates the entire process, completely removing the risk and hassle for the partner. At PowerGo, we prioritize sustainable and fast charging with green energy. The partnership with Intratuin fits well with this vision, while we contribute to the expansion of the Dutch fast charging network.”
Huub Spikker, Store Manager Intratuin Lochem: “At Intratuin, green is a central theme. We aim to bring people closer to a green and more natural way of life. Sustainability therefore plays an important role in Intratuin’s policies. This is demonstrated by the high standards we set for our plants and products and our care for the environment. Through the cooperation with PowerGo, we now also offer our visitors the opportunity to charge their electric car in a fast and sustainable way. This is something that is perfectly in line with the future and Intratuin’s mission and vision.”
