Visitors to the popular Dutch family park Madurodam have recently been able to charge their electric car quickly and easily. In collaboration with PowerGo, the parking spaces have been equipped with the first charging points. Drivers of electric cars can leave with a filled battery after a visit to Madurodam.
Family park Madurodam in The Hague attracts 650,000 visitors every year. In order to facilitate these visitors even better, several PowerGo charging points have been installed in the parking lot. Last month, four charging stations were installed, where eight electric cars can charge simultaneously. In addition, five fast charging points will be installed soon. The charging stations will supply 100% green electricity as soon as Madurodam’s own connection is ready.
Charging solutions from PowerGo: a great addition
Sander Gielen, general manager of Madurodam: “We want to offer our visitors a pleasant and carefree day out. Since more and more people drive electric, we think it is important to facilitate charging points for them. We are happy to contribute to making the Netherlands more sustainable. The charging stations are a great addition for us!”
As a subsidiary of PowerField, PowerGo offers simple and smart charging solutions for drivers of electric cars. These smart charging solutions, in combination with green energy, are an important part of PowerGo’s ambition to become a major operator of charging points in Europe. The collaboration with Madurodam is therefore a great milestone in both the energy transition and the ambition of PowerGo.
